Mosquito Fly Trap  - revolutionary designed device with its innovative use of TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) and near ultraviolet rays, creates an unlimited amount of CO2 (the same gas that humans and animals breathe out and is the number one thing that mosquitoes seek when finding a host) through its Photocatalytic reaction to lure and exterminate mosquitoes. Simultaneously, it also purifies and sterilizes the surrounding air.

When humans or animals breath out they produce CO2, and their bodies are constantly giving off heat and moisture. Mosquitos and other biting insects have the ability to detect CO2, heat and moisture from long distances and are immediately attracted to the source. Mosquitos are also attracted to trace amounts of alcohol vapor as well as dark colors, especially black. The mosquitos fly around and search using their sensors for a warm body to start biting

How does Mosquito Fly Trap Works
 The Mosquito Fly Trap lures, traps and kills mosquitoes and other biting insects both in bright indoors and in dark outdoors by a tripartite system.

Female biting mosquitoes require blood to nourish their eggs. They get that blood from you, your family, your pets and your friends. They track down hosts by sensing the carbon dioxide, moisture and heat from breath, body odor and color contrasts. The creation of an unlimited amount of carbon dioxide is done with a photocatalytic reaction occurs between a Titanium coated metal collar and near ultraviolet light from either the two UV lamps built in the unit or from natural sun light. Decoyed mosquitoes enter the trap through the capture windows on the upper portion, and then are drawn into the capture net at the lower compartment. When they are drawn into the net, they are unable to fly upwards due to the strong current of the suction fan. Once trapped, all the insects will eventually die due to dehydration.

What is Photocatalytic Reaction
 Photocatalytic is a decomposition reaction formed when Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), as a catalyst, absorbs Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight or illuminated light source (ultraviolet lamps). TiO2 can be used semi-permanently because, as a catalyst, it is not consumed in the process and therefore does not change.

Benefits of Photocatalytic Reaction
When small amount of near ultraviolet rays from sunlight or ultraviolet lamps and organic matter on the surface of TiO2 meet and react, the photocatalytic oxidation will effectively disinfect, deodorize, clean and purify air and different surface areas.

"Mosquito Fly Trap" is used for luring and catching mosquitoes that cause various diseases at cattle shed, houses, gardens, farms, factories, swimming pools, restaurants, animal hospitals, beauty shops, dormitories, military compounds and gas stations.
 It comes with 2 special lamps that lure mosquitoes with  special wavelength .


It also uses photo-catalysis. TiO2, which not only generates CO2 to lure mosquito but
also can clean and sterilize air.


"Mosquito Fly Trap" is a healthy alternative to pesticide which may be harmful.

 

"Mosquito Fly Trap" once caught more than 20,000 mosquitoes overnight at s cattle shed, but actual performance may vary depending on surroundings.

We have won the 3rd prize in hygiene field in the international contest for invention in Nurnberg, Germany and it is under both Singapore and international patent.
 

 > How to Clean the unit:

1. Clean the unit once a week. Cover the capture window with the black tape with Velcro closure provided. Leave the unit covered for about 3 hours.

 2. Switch off the unit and pull out the plug before cleaning.

3. To open the unit, turn the bottom chamber anti-clockwise.

4. Clean the inside of the chamber and fan with the brush provided. You may also wipe the metal funnel with a piece of damp cloth

5. To clean other parts of the unit, separate the metal funnel from the top portion of unit. To separate the funnel, press the inner sides of the metal funnel with both thumbs and push it downwards with a little pressure.

6. Clean the other parts with the brush or wipe with a piece of damp cloth.

7. To reattach the metal funnel, place the unit with the top facing downwards against a soft surface (ie.lap) and press down the sides. Caution: Do not press against the supports of the motor.
